Dynasty Vipers Viper Cast

On this week's ViperCast, Matt Donnelly and Major Caldwell sit down with the Athletics Arif Hasan to talk Minnesota Vikings football. That's right we have some thoughts on Kirk Cousins extension. Will Irv Smith Jr breakout in 2022? What pieces are the Vikings looking to add during free agency and the draft?

We also get Arif's thoughts on the recent NFL trades involving Russell Wilson, Khalil Mack, Carson Wentz, and Amari Cooper while asking where's DeShaun Watson end up. You won't want to miss his thoughts on the Steelers Mitchell Trubisky and Diontae Johnson.

Another big trade in the NFL as the Chicago Bears have sent All-Pro Edge rusher Khalil Mack back to the AFC West but this time Mack will be sporting powder blue with the Los Angeles Chargers.

This week on the ViperCast Dr. Roto makes a house call to the Viper Pit to give both Matt Donnelly and Major Caldwell a prescription for their Fantasy Football fevers.

The Doc gives us 2-3 guys from each fantasy-relevant position  (QB, TE, RB, WR) that caught his eye.

Calvin Ridley Suspended? What are the Doc's thoughts especially considering gambling is a big part of today's NFL. T

agging Season, Franchise tags handed out any surprises? (Orland Brown, Jessie Bates, Dalton Schultz, David Njoku, Mike Gesicki, Chris Godwin, Adams)  Would the good doctor be tagging these tight ends?

The Seattle Seahawks trade Russel Wilson and a 4th to the Denver Broncos for 2-1sts, 2-2nds, 5th, Drew Lock, Noah Fant, and DT Shelby Harris. Is that enough to justify trading away Ciara's husband?

Aaron Rogers is back with the Packers, maybe.

And of course, we go Behind the Grind with Dr. Roto

Breaking fantasy football podcast we have another NFL quarterback trade. This time the Indianapolis Colts are sending Carson Wentz from the AFC South back to the NFC East as a Washington Commander.

Wentz will face the Eagles twice next year as well as the Colts once so at least it both the Eagles and Colts will be able to continue to catch passes from their former QB. Just kidding, sort of.

The move to Washington gives Wentz perhaps the most weapons he has had his entire career with the likes of Terry McLaurin, Antonio Gibson, Curtis Samuel, and Logan Thomas.

It's that time of the season when we focus all our attention on the NFL draft. NFL prospects will be dissected not only by NFL decision-makers but fantasy football managers, as well as they, prepare for their fantasy drafts.

In this episode of Viper Bytes, we take a look at the Running Back prospects participating at the NFL Combine.

Is it me or is the wide receiver as deep this year as any other year in recent memory? While the NFL draft prospects may not have those true alpha receivers that previous draft classes have had there appears to be plenty of value at the position that can be had later in drafts, especially in those fantasy football drafts.

Let's take a look at some of the top receiver prospects from the combine in Indianapolis. We will talk about a set of teammates in the Ohio States Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson as well as the pair of pass catchers from Alabama in Jameson Williams and John Metchie. Don't worry I didn't forget about Treylon Burks, George Pickens, or Drake London and you know I'll be touching on Alec Pierce and Christian Watson.

In this episode of Viper Bytes, we take a look at the Running Back prospects participating at the NFL Combine.

Breece Hall left very little doubt after the combine as to who should be the top-ranked NFL running back prospect heading into the NFL draft in Las Vegas, but how dow the rest of the field shape up post combine?

Is Isaiah Spiller or Kenneth Walker the next man up should Breece Hall stumble between now and the draft? Did Georgia teammates Zamir White and James Cook do enough to improve their draft stock? What about Notre Dame RB Kyren Williams, did his performance hurt his draft prospects?
