She is the founder of LingLab Consult, specialising in business communication, diversity, inclusion, and equity training and consultancy. She hosts a weekly language matters podcast and is also an academic fellow at Africa No Filter. Maame holds a Ph.D. in linguistics from Queen Mary, University of London.
