Amazon Background: Crystal Howard has been with Amazon for four years. For the first two years, she spent as a Healthcare Customer Advisor for the Amazon Business healthcare team. Her passion for DE&I grew, and she decided to pursue her passion and landed a role as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program Manager. She has been in the role with the Global Supply Chain/ACES Quality team at Amazon for over two years. She is originally from NY and currently resides in Austin, TX. She is the child of two immigrant parents from the Dominican Republic. She has been living here for the past 12 years. She attended Iona College in New Rochelle, NY on 3 scholarships- 1 Academic and 2 Athletic: Division 1 Sports- Volleyball and Basketball. She spent a few years coaching her daughterโs basketball team, recently coached her sonโs basketball team, and enjoys spending her weekends watching her kids play sports by cheering them on at every game. When sheโs not with her kids, sheโs volunteering her time by acting as the DE&I Chair for the PTA at the local school district. Lastly, she loves to read self-help books like โLead From The Outside: How to Build Your Future and Make Real Changeโ by Stacey Abrams
