Life Is a Gift—Make the Most of It
Life is a precious gift from God, meant to be lived with purpose. God did not create mankind by accident; He created us for a genuine and divine reason. In return, He asks for one simple thing—that we live meaningfully and make our lives productive, bringing value to the time He has given us.
1. Life Comes from God
Life originates from God alone. The Bible says:
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” — Genesis 2:7 (KJV)
This reminds us that every breath we take is sustained by God.
2. Life Is Precious and Short
Life on earth is fragile and brief. Scripture warns us not to take it for granted:
“Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” — James 4:14 (KJV)
Because life is short, every moment truly matters.
3. Use Your Life Wisely
God calls us to live intentionally and wisely:
“See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” — Ephesians 5:15–16 (KJV)
To redeem the time is to live purposefully, making choices that honor God and bless others.
In summary, life is a gift from God, brief yet priceless. When we recognize its source, value its brevity, and use it wisely, we fulfill God’s purpose and make life truly worth living.
