Knowledge Gives Power

Knowledge provides the opportunity for surviving and thriving in this world. The more knowledge one has the better the decisions one will have to make. It is the knowledge that you have that will provide you decide the spiritual, moral, logical, and ethical grounds on which you make decisions.

Proverbs 24:5: A wise man is [a]strong, and a person of knowledge [b]increases power.

There are 4 most important types of knowledge that we need to pay urgent attention to.

What is courage?

I believe, “Courage is simply gaining control over fear or fearful situations, confronting it, and dealing with it with the quality of mind or spirit. It is not a one-time thing; it is a continuous exercise of action against fear.” (CH Ehihi A. Dominion)

“Courage is doing what you are afraid to do, because “Where there is no fear, there is no courage.”

Isaiah 41:13 “For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, do not fear; I will help you” (NIV).

God is saying to right now, do not fear; for I will help you.

The Danger of “Transactional” Relationships

Most family members complain that some of their friends or loved ones don’t understand the value that could be gained by involving them more frequently in building mutual relationships.

In a transactional relationship, the only time one engages is when there is a need or when something is wrong. This is when people around you become a means to an end.

Imagine if the only time you talked to your spouse or a friend was to ask for something. How might they feel about that? How would you feel if you were the one being called on only when there is a need?

This episode is an encouragement for you to "Persevere A Little more."

Let Us Stop Complaining, rather than complaining count the blessings.

Complaining is a distraction; an obstacle in the way of getting to the promise God has for you.

So let us stop complaining.

When you feel like complaining, talk to God about your predicament.

My encouragement to you is that “rather than complaining about that situation, try to count the blessings in it, and then be a positive force to make things better.”

And it is encountered most obviously in the realm of decision-making.

If you have to say it, you have to think through it. If you have to post it, you have to think through it. If you have to tweet it, you have to think through it. Be very gentle, careful, and thoughtful in the way you respond to people.
