On our walk we will encounter some experiences with the enemy. One thing I’ve learned to do is deal with it the first time so it won’t happen a second time. The enemy would love for you not to use your authority or even distract you enough so that you won’t use it. There will be times where the enemy would want to discourage you so that you won’t use your authority. I tell you today right now, that’s a lie and a tactic to keep you from walking in victory! Assume your position in the army of the Lord ! We have been given the power over the enemy, so don’t let him slide when he comes with his tactics and devices.

There are moments where we don’t feel God, can’t hear God and it’s hard to walk in his will. We are quick to say that God is silent but is he? We have to discern our seasons well, the reason we may not be able to hear from God is because we aren’t in a place of receiving what he has to say. When we disconnect from him that’s when it’s hard to hear him and see him. We have to seek his face and read his word to have a functioning relationship with him. We won’t get to know God if we only pick and choose when to speak to him. Intentionally is crucial on this walk with God. Nobody is perfect, God is just looking for effort. Disconnecting from him makes our this walk harder, so choose to continue to stay connected so he can carry you.

When going through the battle & trials it’s so easy to get distracted by what you see. In those times the enemy would want you to focus in on your how you feel and what’s going on around you. A practical tip is to focus on the evidence of God in your life. Don’t even forget how far you’ve come! Look at how he brought you through up to this point. Pivot your vision on the evidence of how good he has been. Focus on the evidence shown in scripture how he delivered and set people free. If he has done it before, he will do it again.

In seasons of heavy tests and trials, where it feels like you are losing it all…. sometimes we just need a perspective shift. I’m reminded of the story of Job where God and Satan had a conversation about Job, and God recommended him to be tested. Many wonder why God recommended Job but as God was ministering this to me, he showed me new perspective. God knew that no matter what test came or what Job lost that he would still trust God and not curse him. Job did not curse God after all that he went through, and he was restored with more than what he lost. So imagine that you are going through this season of trials because God trusts that you will not give up on him even in the midst of battle. Be reminded that after you have endured, God will restore you in the areas of your life just as he did Job. God trusts you for the battle. Though it may seem heavy, you are equipped!

When troubles come on this walk, sometimes we are easily swayed by them. We get overtaken by worry, fear, & uncertainty instead of remaining at God’s feet. This is a time where you have to act like you know God is going to show up for you. Act like you know him as your father that can’t forsake you. Act like you know him as a resting place when you’re weary. Seasons of testing and trouble requires you know God, remain in the word and study on God’s character.

How often do we allow our current struggles to overwhelm us? It's easy to focus on the battle and feel defeated. But today, I want to encourage you to shift your perspective and remember who our God is. The challenges may seem huge, but God is even bigger. In times like these, it's crucial to remember what God's Word says about Him. His Word reminds us that we are His children, and through it all, we are more than conquerors. So, I challenge you today: take your eyes off your situation and focus on God. When you do, you'll see that your struggles become smaller because our God is greater.

There are times when we're uncertain about the decisions we need to make. In those times we seek God’s guidance for clarity. When we seek him for a clear answer, we must trust that by faith God is ordering our steps. We don’t walk by sight, but by faith, knowing that he is directing us, even in the moments of doubt. When we ask for his guidance, he will grant favor and walk with us on the paths we take. So I challenge you to walk boldly knowing your steps are divinely ordered by God, and the way ahead is already covered by His hand.

Often times as of children of God, we allow our battles to seem bigger than our God. We look at the battle and how it feels vs what we know God can do. We know God as a savior, a redeemer, a warrior etc. So why do we waver? Don’t let the battle, war, circumstance, warfare distract you from your walk with Christ. In moments where it seems like we’re sinking that’s when we need to focus back on God and his character. Recall what he’s brought us through previously! He will keep you in perfect peace if you keep your mind stayed on him. This too shall pass, be encouraged!

In life’s battles, as children of God, we are not only promised victory but also given authority. As it is written in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.” So, if God has granted us this authority, why do we hesitate to use it? Don’t let fear or the magnitude of the battle cloud your judgment—there’s nothing we can’t overcome with God’s strength. Sometimes, he’s simply waiting for us to step into the authority he has already given us. Be encouraged, this too shall pass.

It's essential to seek God in every season of our lives. Often, we let our current situations distract us, causing us to overlook God. In those moments, we risk missing out on our blessings, and most importantly, we risk missing out on his presence. No matter the challenges we face, we should strive to rejoice in Him and praise him consistently, even in difficulties. Be reminded that he is always with us, guiding us through everything that comes our way. It’s just up to us to see him in our situation and not miss him.
