Today we see how the Christ through the church sets you free!

We see how Jesus completes the church through His death and resurrection.

Today we see what Paul says about falling in love with the church. The big take away here is that the love for the church doesn't come from the building or the people but falling in love with the church is falling in love with Jesus, our savior!

Today we see why the church is the hope of the world.

Today we continue our series called, "Giving Church a Chance." We learn about the Supremacy of Jesus Christ as the head of the church.

We continue our series on Giving Church a Chance, a verse by verse study of the book of Colossians. Today we see that we should pray for the church and others purposefully, regularly, and specifically.

The church today is often viewed with negativity. To some degree, the church has brought this on herself but the truth remains that in spite of her mistakes and problems, the church remains the hope of the world because the church has been given the only message that can change the direction of a person's life and eternity, There is nothing like the local church when the local church is working right and the local church is working right when Christ is its total focus. That is what the book of Colossians is all about. It shows that Christ is the supreme head of the church which is the only reason anyone needs to "give church a chance!"

It's Easter Sunday and we are finishing up our series on Mary Magdalene. After His resurrection, Mary was the first person to see Jesus.

It's Good Friday and today we learn what Mary's life is like after she encounters Jesus.

Mary Magdalene is a very important person in Scripture. She is the only one mentioned in all four Gospel accounts as being at the crucifixion of Jesus and she isthe first person Jesus appeared to and spoke with after her resurrection. Yet, no one person in the Bible is more misunderstood than Mary Magdalene. In this
series we will look to Scripture (not tradition) to see what Mary’s life was like before she encountered Christ; how she encountered Christ; and how her life
changed after encountering Christ.
