From the first words on the very first page, to the last compelling sentence in this important story, I was hooked. The characters are well developed and relatable, and IT HAPPENED ON SATURDAY is so well crafted and captivating. Sydney did a wonderful job interweaving such an important topic, human trafficking, into her meaningful and empathetic read.
