E02: The New, Pain-Free Way to Success
The new, pain-free way to success with your children is speaking to them about money! Growing up, many of us didn’t know how money worked and why we needed it. Many of our parents didn’t teach us basic fundamentals regarding money and we all suffered from the lack of knowledge. Our parents did the best they could for us and we appreciate them for it. Now, in this new day and age, we have all the tools at our fingertips. There are no excuses as to why we can't assist our children in learning about financial literacy.
We would like to think that our school systems are teaching them what they need to learn about money. However, this is not the case! They only teach the basics of money, not the core nor the importance of money. It is our job as parents to make sure our children get what they need: shelter, food, affection, etc. But it is also our job to teach them money values, to build wealth, to inspire them, and so much more.
You were gifted to have children and you are developing them into who they need to be. Get out of the mindset of just surviving! Your wealthy legacy will be hindered if you're not around like-minded people. The strategies that you need in order to have a pain-free way to success with children are: own up to your mistakes and be a person that is receptive to learning from different individuals and take action, and stay persistent and be committed to the journey to see results.
