Hey everyone welcome to the They Exist Podcast. This podcast introduces Ziezy and their pronouns They/Them. In this podcast they will talk about themselves as a Non Binary individual and about all things Trans, Non Binary, Queer and Gender related. In the future the podcast will have more topics and guests from the community.

In this particular episode Ziezy describes what they did for Non Binary awareness week and makes the point that Non Binary people should be recognised all year round not just for a day or a week. Ziezy talks about how we Non Binary people exist as a community even though the UK government do not legally recognise us yet. They state that we deserve legal recognition and should not have to prove our gender identity to a medical professional, they mention the right to self I.D and the fact that the 2021 census included a gender identity section for the first time but we still can't get legal recognition on legal documents.

Ziezy encourages cis people to listen and learn and support the whole Trans community all year round not just on social media once or twice a year this includes Non Binary people!
