In this episode of the the They Exist Podcast Ziezy answers a question in the opening section of the podcast about dressing alternatively and being Non Binary in 'Ask Ziezy'.
In the second part of the podcast Ziezy talks about their experiences of growing up with gender feelings as a kid in the 90s and teen in the early and mid 2000s. Ziezy talks about not feeling as though they could open up about how they were feeling due to where they were from and the stigma attached to being Queer in any way during that time period. They talk about feeling closer to being a 'Tomboy' than being a girl or a boy and feeling alienated from both genders in some way. They also talk about the challenges of facing bullying as a kid and the affect that had on them being able to open up about how they did and didn't experience gender. Ziezy talks about people calling them Anti LGBTQIA+ slurs throughout school and how it made them feel.
We end the episode paying our respects to Harvey Parker from London. This is after the ending of the episode if you need to skip this part for personal reasons.
