In this episode Ziezy (that's me the voice in your ear) talks about their own personal experience with gender. They talk about everything from what gender means, to them, how they express their gender, how they embrace being Trans and Non Binary and so much more...

I really hope this helps someone out their who is learning about their own gender. We are a community after all and this podcast is mainly for you and other Trans people, although if their are some cis allies or questioning people out their you are more then welcome in our little space of the podcast world. The more perspectives we hear on gender and queerness the broader our understanding and empathy will be towards all people on this planet.

This episode does contain some strong language (I know I'm bad) and although i don't go into real detail i do discuss some references to internalised transphobia, my personal experiences and subjects to do with my own gender identity and sexuality that people could possibly find triggering. In this episode of They Exist, Ziezy discusses and looks at everything from what does Non Binary mean? What is gender identity? What does the term Cis mean? And so much more from their perspective... These are Ziezy's interpretations and they do not speak for the whole Non Binary or Binary Trans community. We are not a monolith and we all may view gender, Trans and queer stuff slightly differently and that's okay so always get a married perspective from other people with in the community.

This FAQ episode is aimed towards people who may be questioning their gender and want to find out a little bit more about themselves or Cis people trying to become better allies and listen to an actual Non Binary individual. This episode does not contain pure dictionary definitions and is just one perspective from one Trans person. Trans women, Trans men and Trans Non Binary people will share some experiences and also have unique experiences of their own. Also intersections of other oppressions can play there part when existing and living as a Trans person in 2021.

Hey everyone welcome to the They Exist Podcast. This podcast introduces Ziezy and their pronouns They/Them. In this podcast they will talk about themselves as a Non Binary individual and about all things Trans, Non Binary, Queer and Gender related. In the future the podcast will have more topics and guests from the community.

In this particular episode Ziezy describes what they did for Non Binary awareness week and makes the point that Non Binary people should be recognised all year round not just for a day or a week. Ziezy talks about how we Non Binary people exist as a community even though the UK government do not legally recognise us yet. They state that we deserve legal recognition and should not have to prove our gender identity to a medical professional, they mention the right to self I.D and the fact that the 2021 census included a gender identity section for the first time but we still can't get legal recognition on legal documents.

Ziezy encourages cis people to listen and learn and support the whole Trans community all year round not just on social media once or twice a year this includes Non Binary people!
