In this episode Ziezy focuses and reacts to the recent UK court appeal and eventual overruling of the Bell vs Tavistock case, which initially stopped and restricted purity blockers to Trans youth under 16 years of age under the grounds of consent. With the initial ruling from 2020 Trans youth would have to have their fate decided by a judge instead of a medical professional on whether they could start the sometimes life saving treatment of puberty blockers which have been around for decades and research suggests are safe and reversible as far as medical treatments are concerned. Ziezy reflects as Non Binary a parent on why we should be supportive of our children and listen to their needs. We as parents can still be responsible without being harmful and denying our children medical treatment that they need. 

They talk about how gender dysphoria can have a big affect on a Trans individuals mental health and how gender affirming care and support is vital for all Trans youth and adults. They state if there was more widespread knowledge and acceptance of being Trans when they were younger they may have looked into the option of puberty blockers themselves. They also make the point that people under 16 can consent to other forms of medications with known side effects under the age of 16 if makes a difference to that child so why is it any different when it comes to affirming treatment to do with gender identity. All Trans people should have control and autonomy over their bodies.
