Let’s get down to business this week and talk about radical self responsibility (RSR)! Ooooh, I just love that term!! Radical means immense, and self responsibility is all about your commitment to yourself, so we’re here to make you immense through your own actions! Only one person can change your life or align it to your values and vision, and that’s you!
So this week's episode is an overview rather than a masterclass as such - I’m not going to tell you how to do it, but I’m hoping I will inspire you to do it! RSR is a piece of work that we can literally take to our grave and if we don’t start now, then when?
I’ll take you on a whistle stop tour of what RSR means and what it consists of as well as its value and impact on your relationship with yourself and others in all areas of life. I’ll walk through a bit of my story with RSR and also why it cropped up as a more prominent need in certain times of my life, whilst being a continuous theme. Having RSR means we can proactively create a life that is aligned to our values and a way of living that fits our desires. Otherwise we will just be accepting where and who we are without self enquiry or operating from a place of self agency and owning yourself.
To support the self responsibility piece, I’ll also give you a very short overview of the need and difference for working with a therapist and a coach and why investing in yourself is a must to move your life to where you wish to go. By taking control of your life and opening your mind to how you can make this happen, and what you must do to take radical responsibility, you will improve not only your relationship with yourself and others.
As always, if you like the podcast then please don't forget to connect at our other channels and download/share/subscribe to this episode and to the subsequent ones! Also, if you're feeling generous and like what you hear then any ratings and feedback would be welcomed!
Please contact me directly if you have any Q&As or topics to be explored in future shows.
