Sequan performed at one of our first Own It shows in 2019. In a piece where she redefined the acronym HIV she also claimed a voice which has only grown louder. Now she runs a non-profit called “Hope on Tapp” where she offers free HIV and Hep-C testing to underserved populations. This episode is packed with information about these misunderstood diseases. The woman is a powerhouse, and her partner Shane knows it. “This is part of our date night,” he told us when they sat down in Harvey.  How cool that they wanted to record a podcast with us for their date!
