What is it? 

The report defines microlearning as anything under 10 minutes – sobite-size classes — anything under 10 minutes in length counts, but think closer to the 30- to 60-second mark. 

Benefits:

• Easier to absorb the message
• As our attention span decreaes and we have constant distractions, shorter content will be better for your students
• It's also easier and faster for creators to create shorter videos.

If you have lots of short videos, make sure you group them into modules or sections.

Microlearning for Course Marketing

20% of TikTokers are already using the platform for education and learning. 

Can you use TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts to help find your students? 

2nd part of the trend: Mobile Devices

More than twice as many people (68%) prefer consuming digital content on mobile devices like phones and tablets than on desktop computers or laptops (29%)

The age of your audience is also part of this trend, but even Baby Boomers love to use their iPads.
