E15: Embracing Support, Being Intentional When Lonely, and Being Bold in Singleness with Hannah

Listen Later

Meet Hannah, originally from Germany who recently made Kona, Hawaii her new home after navigating through various tech startups in Europe. In this episode, Christy and Hannah discuss about the power of having a caring and understanding support system, whether that’s for decision making, when navigating through loneliness, or taking on new adventures with.

Rather than succumbing to busyness as a remedy for loneliness, Hannah advocates for intentional moments of reflection and finding supportive connections. Research suggests that loneliness is comparable to smoking 15 cigarettes a day, so there is a high need to have community and to be filling these places with something that is better for mental and emotional health in the long run.
Lastly, the ladies delve into pursuing a fulfilling life of being bold and having fun instead of waiting for change in life to happen, whether that’s through trying new things, or growing through mentorship and service in the relationships around you.
