Are you the type of person who everyone knows they can rely on? Do you give more to others than you ever give to yourself? I get it. I used to be the person who everyone would call to ‘help them’ to do things that they could have easily done themselves; however, out of convenience, they asked for my help and I gave it without any hesitation. It wasn’t until I realized that my own cup was empty that I realized that I was trying harder to fill the cup of others than I was to fill that of my own. This resulted in my inability to help those around me when they needed me the most.
