My Morning Cup

E150 - Maury Nicely’s Morning Cup

Listen Later

Maury Nicely wasn't planning on becoming a lawyer when he went to law school, but three decades later, he's built a thriving practice and become one of Chattanooga's most passionate historians.

In this episode, Maury shares what he learned working both sides of the table as a law firm attorney and in-house counsel, why leaving a stable corporate job to start a law firm with partners during a recession was the best risk he ever took, and how his passion for local history turned into books and walking tours that bring Chattanooga's past to life.

Maury Nicely is a Partner at Evans Harrison Hacket who specializes in Employment Law. You can learn more about him on their website: ehhlaw.com/index.php/maury-nicely
