Teaching older dogs new tricks can be challenging because they often have established habits, may experience physical limitations, and might have a reduced attention span, making it harder for them to adapt to new behaviors.  Jackie compares the older dogs learning new tricks to humans learning new things.   She shares all the reasons why its more difficult to get out of our comfort zone as we age but she also shares some good news about the aging process.
