We all want to belong, we don’t want the embarrassment of being called out for not belonging. This is the place I’m coming to you today.

As a parent, I've known how my children need more than the average child and yet the term special needs child, as I knew it, did not fit the narrative at the time. 

This episode is about how I came to understand the term special needs and am learning to embrace the fact that I’m the mom of 2 girls who do fall under the umbrella.
