शिव पुराण - रूद्र संहिता

अध्याय ३ : मायानिर्मित नगरमें शीलनिधिकी कन्यापर मोहित हुए नारदजी का भगवान् विष्णु से उनका रूप माँगना, भगवान् का अपने रूप के साथ उन्हें वानर का-सा मुँह देना, कन्याका भगवान को वरण करना और कुपित हुए नारद का शिवगणोंको शाप देना।

Chapter 3: Naradji, who was fascinated by Sheelnidhi's daughter in Mayanimrit Nagar, asked Bhagwaan Vishnu for his form, Bhagwaan gave him a monkey's face along with his form, the girl married to Bhagwaan, and the enraged Narad cursed the Shivganas.


अध्याय ४ : नारदजी का भगवान् विष्णु को क्रोधपूर्वक फटकारना और शाप देना, फिर माया के दूर हो जाने पर पश्चात्तापपूर्वक भगवान् के चरणों में गिरना और शुद्धि का उपाय पूछना तथा भगवान् विष्णु का उन्हें समझा बुझाकर शिव का महात्मय जानने के लिए ब्रह्मा जी के पास जानेका आदेश और शिव के भजन का उपदेश देना।


Chapter 4: Naradji angrily reprimands and curses Lord Vishnu, then falling at the Lord's feet repentantly after Maya is gone and asking for the solution of purification and Bhagwaan Vishnu convincing him to go to Brahma ji to know the greatness of Shiva Preach orders and hymns of Shiva.

अध्याय ५ : नारदजीका शिव तीर्थों में भ्रमण, शिवगणों को शापोद्धार की बात बताना तथा ब्रह्मलोक में जाकर ब्रह्मा जी से शिवतत्त्व के विषय में प्रशन करना।

Chapter 5: Naradji's tour of Shiva pilgrimages, telling about the curse to Shivaganas and going to Brahmalok to ask Brahma ji about Shivatattva.
