अध्याय ६ : महाप्रलयकालमें केवल सदब्रह्म की सत्ता का प्रतिपादन, उस निर्गुण निराकार ब्रह्मसे ईश्वरमूर्ति (सदाशिव) का प्राकट्य , सदाशिव द्वारा स्वरूपभूता शक्ति (अम्बिका) का प्रकटीकरण, उन दोनों के द्वारा उत्तम क्षेत्र (काशी या आनंदवन) का प्रादुर्भाव, शिवके वामअंगसे परमपुरुष (विष्णु) का आविर्भाव तथा उनके सकाशसे प्राकृत तत्त्वोंकी क्रमशः उत्पत्ति का वर्णन
अध्याय ७ : भगवान् विष्णु की नाभि से कमलका प्रादुर्भाव, शिव इच्छा से ब्रह्मा जी का उससे प्रकट होना, कमलनालके उद्गमका पता लगाने में असमर्थ ब्रह्मा जी का तप करना, श्रीहरि का उन्हें दर्शन देना, विवादग्रस्त ब्रह्माविष्णु के बीच में अग्निस्तम्भ का प्रकट होना तथा उसके और छोर का पता न पाकर उन दोनों का उसे प्रणाम करना

Chapter 7: The emergence of a lotus from the navel of Bhagwaan Vishnu, the appearance of Brahma from it by the will of Shiva, the penance of Brahma ji unable to find the origin of the lotus, Sri Hari appearing to him, the appearance of the Jyotirling in the midst of the conflicted Brahma-Vishnu and not knowing the ends of it, both of them bow down to him
