This week, Coach Rob, Rick and Austin discuss skates.  If you are new to hockey, knowing what to ask for in a skate blade hollow (area cut into the bottom of your blades during sharpening that gives you your pronounced inside and outside edges) is extremely important.  They guys also talk about radius or profile of a skate blade, skate laces (waxed vs non-waxed), how to tie skates and the importance of fit and comfort of a skate.  Finally, Austin gives a quick overview of some changes happening in the world of skates.
