The first one being the idea that all men cheat, which gave no room for personal responsibility, and the second being the idea that cohabitation prior to marriage is an important step and will tell you a lot about whether or not you two are compatible for marriage.
Changing your mind on things is a reflection of personal growth and development, and it should be something we all strive for as we take in new information and have new life experiences.
