I’d like to begin this episode by acknowledging the land that I am learning and living on is the traditional un-ceded, un-surrendered territory of the Anishnaabeg Algonquin People.
We hear a lot about how important it is for leaders to understand workplace culture so that leaders can better understand how to connect to their teams.
Emerging leaders find themselves in the position of having to enact the company directives with the team they are in. The challenge for the emerging leader is to find ways to effectively and efficiently guide their team.
In this episode, I’ll be speaking with Chris Clews, a speaker, author, and 80s pop-culture guru, and he’ll use his deep knowledge of the 80s to help emerging leaders understand today’s workplace culture and the importance of recognizing peoples’ greatness.... and then let them know.
