I’d like to begin this episode by acknowledging the land that I am learning and living on is the traditional un-ceded, un-surrendered territory of the Anishnaabeg Algonquin People.
Psychological Safety.
When you read these words, what did you begin thinking about?
Was it about leaders creating safe spaces for themselves and their teams? Or perhaps it about finding a physical safe area where everyone can feel comfortable and free to express themselves.
No matter how you perceive the concept of psychological safety, the main thing is to consider what you and your team ‘sees’.
And so, in this episode, you’ll hear from Laura Jansen, an educational consultant, who will delve into what psychological safety is and why it’s important for emerging leaders to understand and implement this concept. Laura will also provide some real-world practical tips that emerging leaders can put into their leadership toolbox to ensure they are providing their team with all of the tools they need to succeed.
