E283: The Naaman Mentality

Listen Later

The Holy Spirit is real. The Spirit speaks, has given us the Holy Scriptures, can be resisted and even grieve. But what exactly is the Holy Spirit doing today? How do we know if we have the Holy Spirit? Does that mean we have to speak in tongues or perform miracles? In this lesson, I talk about what I call the "Naaman Mentality." There was a man in the Old Testament named Naaman. He was given instructions regarding his salvation, but it seemed so easy that he almost resisted. With respect to the Holy Spirit, sometimes people are looking for really challenging things. What if we simply listened to what the Spirit says about Himself in scripture?
