Abraham, Covenants, Law, and Faith
All these topics are covered in a few verses in Galatians Chapter 3. The glorious truth that sets us free is uncovered as Paul uses the Hebrew Scriptures (the Old Testament) to make his points about Religion and Relationship. 

Paul’s emotionally charged message to the Galatians saints is that it’s foolish to think that religious practices have any value in providing salvation, righteousness, or ongoing acceptance by God.
In this episode we dive deep into the first few verses of Chapter 3.

The fourth in the Galatians study. This time we look at peer pressure, straightforward truth, and life in Christ Jesus. 

Continued study of Galatians brings us to chapter 2. Paul visits the Apostles in Jerusalem and we are told of false believers, spies, slavery, and the preservation of the truth. 

Galatians highlights the difference between religion and relationship with start, and sometimes surprising clarity. Paul's words about those who would try to institute self righteous act into the Galatians church make very clear just how important this issue is. 

GALATIANS 1: Jesus to the Rescue
The book of Galatians speaks to a problem faced by the early Church, but it is a problem we still face today.

In this episode we begin a series of studies in Galatians. It is my prayer that they shed new light on the war between religion and relationship. 

Many think of hope as a kind of wish for something to happen,but what is hope? What does the Bible say about hope? Why is hope important? 

Why is faith called the substance of things hoped for. What does it mean that it is the evidence of things not seen? 
In this episode I take a deep look at those questions. 

There are two components to the Gospel, but many only hear about one of them. Mercy and grace. Both were given at the cross. 

Too many of God's children feel guilty, ashamed, even fearful because their attitudes and actions do not reflect the new heart and new spirit they've been given.

Scripture speaks about this in Hebrews. It says that those who have been made pure need not be sin conscious. In this episode, I dig into that and provide some encouragement for those who struggle.
