E34: The Unworthy Moments

Listen Later

How do you hold space for the part of yourself that you don't necessarily want to hold space for?

You know, the part of you that you have a hard time accepting, or just don't want to accept?

The part of you that you are resisting, maybe even rejecting?

Because that part of you deserves a space.

A space to exist. Not Control. But just exist.

It may sound like

"I am not worthy."

"I am not good enough"

"I am not lovable"

"I shouldn't be feeling this way"

"I thought I was past this"

When you've been on your own journey/roller coaster of healing, and its been a long time since you've felt unworthy, and then suddenly something happens. You hear something, you catch a glimpse of something, you think something

and its like all those years of hard work and healing seem to be obsolete. Because now you're triggered and you immediately hit the panic button with

"I don't get to feel this way"

"maybe I'm really not past this"

"Maybe I'm not who I thought I was"

This is a universal language.

We all have moments of peace, and we feel so bad ass and grounded and we are killing it in life, relationships, self, career, faith etc.

And we also moments of sinking back into that oh so familiar feeling of unworthiness.

You can hold space for that part of yourself.

Because these moments and these feelings deserve to be felt, heard, seen, expressed and even more importantly...loved.

You get to have each and every moment

You get to grow and heal

You get to be the teacher and the student.

You don't have to change it, you don't have to fix it.

Allow yourself to land wherever you do in each moment because moments pass.

You know deep inside, those moments are not your truth, but are apart of your journey.

You can let them exist and you can let yourself move on.

So, how do you hold space for yourself in all of your glorious and messy moments?

xoxo
