MEET HOL GUEST: WANDA PATHOMRIT 

In episode 4 of HOL, Rita brings on close friend Wanda Pathomrit to show “how the healer, heals” by building deep healing relationships with friends/allies of the Lao community. It’s important to note that growth happens throughout a lifetime and Rita’s aptitude to thrive and heal would not have been possible without the critical mentors/femtors, professors, and friends in her life that took her under their wing to remind her to believe in herself as much as they believed in her. Wanda is special in a way that she holds a space to nurture authentic growth for all individuals that cross her life--especially for Rita! 

Wanda identifies as a daughter of Thai immigrants, mental health psychotherapist, and activist. Her formal degrees are a Masters of Social Welfare and a Master of Arts in Asian American Studies and she is currently employed at the Asian American Pacific Counseling Treatment Center in San Fernando Valley.
