Kristi Blackburn and her husband Davey run the ministry Nothing is Wasted and share how grief and trauma can be used for God's glory in your life. In 2015 Davey's first wife, Amanda, was tragically killed in a home invasion when she was 13 weeks pregnant with their second child, leaving Davey and their 15 month old Weston in a puddle of grief. Davey and Amanda were church plant pastors, and their story made national news. Davey went on a grief journey that he chronicled in his book Nothing is Wasted. During this time, he met Kristi.

Kristi had her own broken story, and when she met Davey, she was not in prepared for what God was about to do. A divorced mother of a little girl named Natalia, Kristi walks through a time of surrender and redemption and her vulnerability about her journey will encourage you. In today's podcast she shares nuggets of faith as she tells her story, and great wisdom and courage that is utterly inspiring.
