This episode is brought to you by a passage in my personal daily devotional that has changed and shifted my perspective about the quality of my life and the state of my circumstances and how neither of them are intertwined through God's eyes.
"People tend to think their circumstances determine the quality of their lives. So, they pour their energy into trying to control those situations. They feel happy when things are going well, and sad or frustrated when things don't turn out as they'd hoped. They rarely question this correlation between their circumstances and feelings.
Yet, it IS possible to be content in any and every situation.
Disappointments, instead of dragging you down can be transformed into opportunities for good.
This transformation removes the sting from difficult circumstances, making it possible to be joyful in the midst of adversity"
We can learn to rise above our circumstances by practicing this mental discipline in all the little disappointments of daily life.
Tune in to today's PeP. Talks with Megan De La Concha to find out HOW to do this and the lessons I have personally taken away from practicing this every day.
BONUS: I am hosting an awesome workshop this coming Tuesday (tomorrow) 11/23 at 7pm est - join me for this live and interactive workshop where I teach you how to create your new life's vision by exploring what is it you truly want out of life, what you don't, and how to make that happen consistently
