Today, my guest is Naomi Jones-Black; An author, a change management expert and a great human. Naomi's recent book  The Power of People Collaborating: Change management perspectives is a great collection of collaboration focused articles.

A firm believer in the power of collaboration, Naomi is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and experience in organizational change management. Her passion lies in helping organizations become more effective at designing, implementing, and managing change.

 In this episode, Naomi and I discuss her book, and explore various topics related to how people working together can make a difference, why it's important, and practical strategies for harnessing this collective collaborative power to achieve meaningful and positive change.

About Naomi (In her own words)
An experienced Organisational Change Manager specialising in the design and delivery of tailored change implementation strategies. Naomi started her change management career in 2007.  She is currently the Director of Organisational Change at the Department of Justice in the Tasmanian State Service.

In 2022 she launched CMO-1 (www.cmo-1.com), a change management advisory service to realise her vision. Naomi creates, skilfully curates and distributes content to build change capability for people and organisations to be excellent change makers. 

She believes in the power of collaboration and is passionate and keen on imparting her knowledge and experience in organisational change management so that organisations become better at designing, implementing, and managing change.  

She is an Accredited Change Manager Master and a Change Management Practitioner.  Naomi holds a Master of Business, Graduate Diploma in Management and a Bachelor of Commerce.  

Naomi is a people manager with many years’ experience and has led change teams and held responsibility for enterprise-wide change frameworks. She has worked in many functions in business including procurement, finance, HR, risk management, information management and project management.
