How does one learn?  Sarah sits in on Phil's consulting session and remembers what it felt like to learn the tedious step by step process of a new art form.  They reflect on their beginnings, when a mentor taught them how to use the mediums which are so intuitive now.  One aspect of mentoring is the personal and emotional connection a student develops with them.  Somehow this leads to Phil saying some really cool stuff about micro vs. macro, reverberation and frequency.  In a few years you can read the thesis on these subjects, written by Sarah.
