This week, Rick and Austin build off of Episode 5's defensive strategies discussion by welcoming back Weekend Warriors Hockey Academy Goaltending Coach Mike DeLaVerne to discuss defensive strategies from a goaltender's perspective.  Coach Mike's experience as a college and professional goaltender allows for outstanding insight as to what he likes to see happen in front of him during different situations.  They discuss topics such as dos and don'ts for clearing the crease, shot blocking, and odd-man rushes.  Coach Mike also talks a little about what offensive players can do to knock a goaltender off their game.  Finally, Rick provides a COVID-19 update on the early 2020 Weekend Warriors Adult Hockey Academy camps.
