Welcome to the BWE!  This episode is a two part special that focus' attention on social injustice and what inequalities are experienced for black people living in the United States.  My guests are Brittney, the creator and host of 'Let's Bri Honest' podcast and James Robinson, a university graduate with a degree that concentrates in History and Sociology.  Both Brittney and James are American and live the realities of inequality, racism, and fear of social injustice; because of the colour of their skin.

In Part 1, we explore the temperature of the Unites States surrounding police brutality and what can be done to address the it.  We focus on the most prolific and recent case of police brutality in the US that captured the worlds attention with the death of George Floyd by former Minneapolis Police Officer, Derek Chauvin.  The conversation is real and raw and affords a perspective of life that many of us will never experience.
