E66 | Jim Zupancic | When A Corporate Executive Takes a Radical Turn

Listen Later

Jim Zupancic had an exceptional career as an Operational Excellence executive with renowned manufacturing companies. By the time he was 34, Jim was the VP of Operational Excellence for a billion-dollar global enterprise. And then, Jim walked away from this life.

Jim taught math in a public school in North Carolina. He married his husband Christopher. They adopted their son Xavier. And at the height of the pandemic, without the promise of work, Jim and Christopher sold their house and belongings and moved their family to Thailand.

Why I am passionate about operational excellence. What authenticity looks like for me. How my husband and I adopted our son. Why we chose to move to the opposite end of the world in the midst of a global pandemic
