We are two Mexican-American residents in marriage and family therapy sharing our stories, experiences, and views on mental health and challenges people face in seeking professional help.   We believe other interpersonal connections in a person’s life, such as family, peers, work environment, and sometimes the broader community can impact a person’s mental health.  We hope this ongoing dialogue will destigmatize the act of seeking out professional help, and in return bring hope and healing to all segments of society.
