Child sexual abuse occurs when a person uses his/her power over a child or youth, and involves the child in any sexual act. The power of the abuser can lie in age differences, intellectual or physical development, a relationship of authority over the child, and/or the child's dependency on him/her.  Adults who had experienced child abuse were two and a half times more likely to have major depression and six times more likely to have post-traumatic stress disorder compared to adults who had not experienced abuse.  

This podcast is a combination of Jackie's clinical insight as well as her wisdom & life experience gained from years of mentoring, coaching & counseling.
