Earful of Dirt - The Major League Rugby Podcast

Earful of Dirt co-host Aaron Castro sits down with Major League Rugby’s NOLA Gold GM Ryan Fitzgerald to discuss New Orleans’ recruitment strategy for the 2019 season. How do you build a team to endure 16 fixtures in a 19 week season?

With Aaron lost out in the wilderness, it falls to Liam and Corey to cover all the Major League Rugby action from the weekend. Rugby United New York traveled to Boston to face the New England Free Jacks, barely making it out of there alive, while the Sabercats knocked off the Austin Blacks with relative ease.

The USA Eagles have reached 12th place in world rankings after a year's worth of hard work and the leadership of Coach Gary Gold. The guys talk over the Ireland and Romania match and look ahead to Americas Rugby Championship.

Rafael y Víctor no solamente repasan los acontecimientos de octubre, pero conversan sobre el viaje de Víctor a la "Ciudad de los Vientos" para presenciar la triple cartelera del The Rugby Weekend.

Major League Rugby announced its 2019 schedule, giving the boys plenty to talk about. They also talk through USA’s historic win over Somoa and consider Canada’s tough road through the repechage tournament to RWC2019.

The Earful of Dirt boys (at least half of them, anyway) were in Chicago last weekend for the Rugby Weekend featuring men's and women's USA teams facing New Zealanders, along with Ireland against Italy. They go over all the happenings in the Windy City, along with news from Major League Rugby.

Glendale hosted the Americas Combine last week, culminating in the Raptors losing an exhibition match to the America's Rugby Selects team 59-31. The guys also look at Major League Rugby’s representation on USA men’s team for the autumn tour as well as RUNY’s newly announced U-20 program.

The New England Free Jacks traveled north to Halifax, Nova Scotia, only to come home defeated by the Ontario Arrows. And Josh Fredlund drops in with a match report from the HSBC women’s 7s tour stop in Glendale.

Aaron and Corey take care of business in Liam’s absence, covering news out of DC MLR, recapping a rough Americas Pacific Challenge for the USA Selects, and hitting on club matches and players that will have an effect on Major League Rugby going into the 2019 season.

Aquí está el episodio tres del nuevo y renombrado En la Melé Podcast. Victor, junto con nuevo presentador Rafael, estarán conversando sobre los pasados acontecimientos del rugby internacional desde una perspectiva latinoaméricana.
