I have seen so much chatter in mom's groups lately about girls starting their periods between 9 and 11. There are post after post questioning body development, are they too early/on track, when should the period arrive and more. The media outlets are doing more reports on girls starting their periods earlier than any other time in history. We are on the brink of some very unhealthy shifts in female reproductive health and it is in our power to get ahead of it.
