6:45pm- While aboard Air Force One, President Donald Trump was asked if he would consider running for Vice President—with his running mate ultimately stepping aside, allowing him to serve a third term. Trump rejected the idea. The reporter’s question was a misread of the 12th Amendment which states: “no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.”
