Some guys grab every check. Some buy their own and call it square. And some just give — food, dinners, whatever — and never keep a tab on any of it. This episode, we found out we're all three of those guys.
It started with a lunch. Matt drove, went to pay for his own food, and Vito insisted on covering it — because Matt drove. To Matt that made no sense: I'll buy mine, you buy yours, we're square. To Vito there's a whole code — you drove, so I've got it. And then there's Kevin, who just brings food in for everyone all the time and doesn't seem to want anything back at all.
Matt, Kevin, and Vito get into who grabs the check, what "let me take you to dinner" actually obligates, buying rounds, and where each of them got their money rules in the first place. Three completely different operating systems, and everybody thinks theirs is the right one.
One of our favorites we've done. New episodes every other Friday.
