Earth-2.net Presents...

Baseball season has officially arrived, and so has Shana and Mike's coverage of Bull Durham!

In the week leading up to Fan Expo Vancouver, which we here at Dread Media will be attending, we present two great interviews and a review this episode! First up, we talk crushes, evading park rangers, and American Mary with the Twisted Twins themselves, Jen and Sylvia Soska! Then Devil Dinosaur Jr. mines the depths of a mysterious tunnel in a Stay Scary review of Absentia. Finally, Ken Loree stops by to chat about getting beaten up by Jean-Claude Van Damme, setting his friends on fire, and donning the mask as Michael Myers. On top of that, there are tons of great tunes: "Is It My Body?" by The 69 Eyes, "Bloody Mary" by Gwar, "Nowhere" by Therapy?, "Gimme Some More" by Busta Rhymes, and "Body Parts and Power Drills" by Dead Again. A peaceful trip to The Library finds unimaginable creatures in the shadows ("Silence in the Library" / "Forest of the Dead"). And while on holiday, The Doctor must battle his own words ("Midnight"). Also, Mike has a theory about Clara, a listener war begins (maybe), and River Song debuts!

It's time for the April Previews episode!

Big Damn Heroes has come to episode 44, and this is an episode of unexpecteds. Over on Buffy, one episode is an excuse for lackluster effects, and the other is not nearly as bad as we thought. On Angel, it's kind of difficult to talk about one of the episodes, and the other is just kind of there. But, one of the characters reaches the peak of their arc. Wanna guess who? Join Will and Hannah as they cover Buffy's "Gone" and "Doublemeat Palace," and Angel's "Birthday" and "Provider."

There is something worse than The Star Wars Holiday Special, and it is here: Attack of the Clones.

After two years and 27 episodes, Ian and Dave finally reach the very last episode of Blake's 7. In "Blake," the Scorpio crew have destroyed Xenon base and are on the run. In a last-ditch attempt to try and establish a united resistance against the Federation, Avon takes the Scorpio to the lawless planet Gauda Prime where he believes he will find the only person who can be their figurehead: Roj Blake. They also look back at the highs and lows of series four, discuss why Blake is terrible at explaining himself, and why Slave is the most meta character in the whole show.

It's an Aquatic Animal Attack Special this week on Dread Media! First up, Adam, Desmond, and Luke review the 1978 Joe Dante film Piranha. Then, in a brand new Stay Scary, Devil Dinosaur Jr. ponders orgies and animal activism in the Italian Jaws ripoff Tintorera: Killer Shark. Jeff joins Adam, Luke, and Desmond as they take a look at the modern Australian effort: Rogue. Some sea chanties for you: "Animal" by Mindless Self Indulgence, "Fish" by The Damned, "Fast as a Shark" by Accept, "Alligator Chomp (The Ballad of Martin Luther Frog Jr.)" by Shooter Jennings, and "Pain is Like an Animal" by Danzig. Please consider donating to Dread Media so that we can continue to offer you the show on a weekly basis. Send feedback to: [email protected], or 206.203.1213. Follow @dreadmedia on Twitter!
