Earth-2.net Presents...

Convention Safety with Greg Ayres, an Ai-Kon 2012 panel.

It's the 25th Anniversary of the Fox television network, and Tom and Derrick celebrate by gleefully unearthing some of the shows and events the first "netlet" neglected to mention when it threw itself a birthday party! Join the Boys Outta Brooklyn as they toast the hotness of Alison LaPlaca and Melanie Chartoff, defend Morgan and Wong from the tongue-lashing of Chris Carter, commemorate the first cross-network crossover, and otherwise poke the sleeping memory of the nation's fourth broadcast network to dislodge some stuff it might not want to remember. You know we control the universe, so get to clicking!

Ai-Kon Aftermath 2012 begins at the very end as Kellen shares his sitdown interview with Greg Ayres. Topics of discussion include what makes a convention great, Greg's history as a DJ, as well as a few words shared on BECK, and the next series to be covered on Animezing Podcast.

Dan and Jonathan make their return to discuss the insanity that is The Aquabats! Super Show! Make sure to visit the Earth-2.net store: http://store.earth-2.net

Desmond sets the tone by getting the episode number wrong at the top of a show dealing with reviews of The Raid: Redemption (with Darryll), The Dark Knight Rises (by Devil Dinosaur Jr.), and Silent House (just Desmond). There is also music between these reviews! These are those examples of music: "Razors Out" by Mike Shinoda and Joe Trapanese (featuring Chino Moreno), "Beyond Redemption" by HIM, "Sidekick" by Rancid, "Silent Scream" by Slayer, and "A Growing Disgust" by The Melvins Lite. The Commonwealth Crew regrets that this installment of Dread Reel-ief features discussion of 1999's Virus. Not that the conversation is bad. The film is. Regrettably bad. Sorry. We are that we had to watch it. Yuck. There are robo-cenobites, though. Also, what other robot film gets a vocal gasp of disgust from Ian? Send feedback to: [email protected], or 206.203.1213. Teen romance, dragons, David Tennant, and the true motives of Stephenie Meyer are all discussed as Aaron and Christian review Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Make sure to visit the Earth-2.net store: http://store.earth-2.net

In this mildly special episode of the Gleefully Macabre podcast, Jeff reads the story "The Loneliest Jackalope" from the anthology Unnatural Tales of the Jackalope. But it's a pretty demented little story. Send feedback to: [email protected], or 206.203.1213. Follow us on Twitter @JeffStrand and @dreadmedia.

Episode 30 is striding into town amid a backdrop of flames, and goddamn, things are getting awesome. And heart-wrenching. Did I mention the heart-wrenching? 'Cause that's coming down the tunnel, fast. However, for now, there is Spike kicking the ass of Not Pam Grier, the Master showing up for some awesome cameos, Angel pretending to be a swinging vamp in a good old fashioned heist movie, and Riley's one-episode closer to leaving the show! WHOOOOOO! Join Hannah and Will as they cover Buffy's "Fool for Love" and "Shadows," and Angel's "Darla" and "The Shroud of Rahmon."

Expressing their hopes by moonlight! Reliving nostalgia by daylight! Never running from a real review! They are the ones named Hey, Gurlfriend! (Or, Hannah and Will talk about the newly announced Sailor Moon anime. And no, that doesn't rhyme, damn it!) Make sure to visit the Earth-2.net store: http://store.earth-2.net
