2022 Marks the 30th anniversary of my DJ career. 27 of those years I've been playing drum & bass. In 1995 I was co-founder of one of Australia's first proper drum n bass clubs (BassCode). In a time when dark/hard jungle was dominant we pushed the boundaries and started experimenting with a variety of sub genres. At the time I pioneered a more intelligent, soulful, jazzy style of dnb, that would later amalgamate together to become known as liquid.

To celebrate the 50th episode of Elements, we take a nostalgic trip through the last 20 or so years showcasing the soulful side of liquid. The sound I have always favoured. This 100 minute mix is just a small sample of some of the classic soul drum & bass tracks I've played, both past and present.
