Is saying something on the radio legally binding? Earlier in June, Keri Miller and Sky Tshabalala said that they will marry each other if Darren Maule married Anna. Now Darren married Anna and avid listeners are wasting no time reminding Keri and Sky about their promise. They had a bit of an argument and Sky announced that he has a girlfriend all of a sudden, but, rest assured, this debacle is far from over.

  • Durban's Deadpool - a mysterious teenager spreading positivity
You will find him in different parts of Durban - spreading positivity across the city. He is a high school student whose main objective is to create joy and happiness in our residents' lives. He believes that since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, people were less 'alive' and 'bright' from being in their homes for long periods and having less physical and social interactions with people.
Durban Deadpool wants to reignite and set people's joy alight by randomly popping up at malls, coffee shops, schools and in the streets.
Unfortunately, he does not want to share his identity, but we were able to speak to Marshall Security's Andreas Mathios who personally knows Deadpool. Here is what might interest you about the young man.

  • An apology coffee treat by Durban surfer to cops who arrested him
In January this year a group of surfers protested in Durban against the beach ban imposed by the government as a measure against COVID 19. This effectively banned South Africans from crossing a beach to get to the water.
Professional surfer, Beyrick de Vries, joined a group of surfers to protest the ban and raise the awareness of how poorly thought out the ban was. The group surfed off New Pier in Durban, however, instead of crossing the beach the group left Durban harbour in a boat so as not to cross the beach.
Members from the Durban Metro Search and Rescue were dispatched to the scene and escorted the surfers back to Durban harbour where they were warned and released.
Now Beyrick De Vries joined forces with local coffee company Ella, to kiss and make up!
