I bought this book because he wrote Grantchester. The plot was unusual and the depth of it surprised me. Very much about an adult family and how even though the relationships seem dysfunctional they are important.

Not as good as James Runcie's later novels but adequate.

All are wonderful reads.

This is a very cleverly written book. Several surprises. His style carries into the Grantchester series. All are wonderful reads.

Disappointing

Not nearly as interesting or spirited as the books with the character Sidney Chambers.

Rather dull.
