“Do you always feel like you are having to start your fitness journey?
In our new podcast, I talk about how we are helping our members Start For The Last Time
What I mean by that is helping our members build a fitness and nutrition plan that they can start and never have to stop for a social occasion, family dinner, holiday
You know the usual things that can de-rail progress and leave you frustrated.
We think you’ll love it
Has this happened to you before?
When you decide to get in shape you find a portion of people around you who get disgruntled?
It catches you off guard ‘cos often there people were supportive of your decisions earlier on
When you first told them you were going to get fit, they were given you all the support and encouragement they could “Good on you” “You’re doing great”
Then out of nowhere, their attitude changed.
It is always around about the time that your progress is so good that it makes them jealous or uncomfortable.
Nutrition can be a minefield at times and it is easy to see why so many people get confused about diet is going to work best for them.
When it comes to fat loss, going too low with your calories can stop you from reaching your goals, which is what I want to talk about today. To try and get you away from thinking nutrition has to be this thing that involves your suffering and being miserable. It doesn't have to be that way!!
This is the audio I have taken from a talk I did for our members
Everyone will be excited to get back to the gym and some form of training come Monday but you need to manage your expectations and what to expect.
I also touch on how to train for your goals and why I believe HIIT style is not the most effective way to burn body fat
...and much more
One thing lockdown has been good for is working on improving aspects of our life that we may have been neglecting.
Sleep was definitely the one thing I was neglecting and taking for granted.
In today's episode, we cover what can happen,
✔️ You don't get enough sleep
✔️ Why sleep is important
✔️ How to build a bedtime routine
Today I dive into 2 topics to rate as over or under-rated.
I go into why I believe counting calories all the time is not a healthy approach and why a certain lower body exercise is the king of all exercises and it is not a barbell squat!

I get asked this all the time from members and newer members who are looking to join our gym.
"I am working hard in the gym, yet feel like the hard does not show"
If you are looking to maximise your time in the gym and see results I want to share 5 principles that I believe you need to have in order for your hard work to start paying off.
